This is Beautiful! He Lost His Phone at Circle But She Returned It

Updated: Oct 29

You all know the stories about Circle but my experience yesterday taught me a little lesson. Truth is, each time I go to Circle, I become apprehensive and more alert as a result of high rate of theft in the area.

Yesterday, I picked a vehicle at Circle late afternoon. While I was waiting at the bus terminal, this older woman, who was walking on the pavement with some items in her hands, stumbled and fell at my feet. I hurriedly reached for her hands and lifted her up. I would go on to help her pack her items which were scattered on the floor.

Next thing, I got a car and moved away. A few minutes into the journey, I couldn’t find my second phone. I dialed the number but the call went unanswered, so I concluded it was in my bag and because it was in silent mode, I didn’t bother even when I didn’t hear it ring from the bag.

I finally got home and realized that the phone was not in the bag either. I dialed the number again but no one answered, so I concluded the phone was lost.

It wasn’t long after when a sister rang me to say that she called my other number but a woman picked up to say that she found the phone at Circle and asked that I call her for directions to enable me pick it up. I was stunned but I put the call through and BAM! She picked!

Long story short, I returned to Circle a while ago to meet this “Hajia” who informed me that the very woman I helped was the one that handed over the phone to her that she found it on the pavement and that she should hold onto it until the owner comes searching.

My people, I could have never imagined that out of the millions of criminals at Circle, there still exist people with such strong fear of God. Well, I dashed the woman’s little daughter some cash but I want all of you to do this for me, anytime you happen to be at Circle walk to the Nsawam pick point and look for this lady in the picture. Buy her BRUKINA.

In fact, when I got there, she wanted to be sure I’m the owner of the phone so she took me through some Hausa and Ewe interview when she realized my Twi is as bad as KPASEC Boneshaker.
